Guowei Yang is a Senior Lecturer (equal to U.S Associate Professor) in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at The University of Queensland, Australia. His research interests lie in Software Engineering, and its synergy with Machine Learning and Programming Languages, with a focus on improving reliability and security of software and machine learning systems. Prior to joining UQ in 2021, Guowei was a tenured Associate Professor at Texas State University in USA. He received his Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013.
